Oh to be in Greece again!

I was trying to get organized today and one thing I needed to do was back up my pictures saved on my laptop. I am hoping one day soon I will blog about a new computer or mine having been completely revitalized but until then....I back everything up on the external hard drive the Beau gave me for Christmas two years ago. He was trying and very proud of getting me something that I needed and would use. I also got my 80g Ipod that year and needed more storage for everything I would put on it.
As I was sorting and going through what I really want saved if my computer were to die tonight...I found my pictures from Greece. I went the summer after I graduated from grad. school. It was a present to myself. My church choir was going for two weeks to Greece and had opened it up to the congregation to come with them. Seeing as how I grew up in my church's choir and know a lot of the lovely ladies and gentlemen who sing in it...it was destiny that I go. My mom decided to go as well and we had a blast. We traveled all over Greece from the mountains to the southern islands. We even had a quick trip over to Turkey while on our cruise of the Grecian Islands. The islands are definitely a place to go back to! Santorini and Mykonos are beautiful places with beautiful sights and beautiful people everywhere you can see. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants shows shows some gorgeous shots of Greece.
Even though my budget currently prevents me from traveling on that level again for awhile, I definitely want to travel the world over my lifetime. My Beau's grandparents have traveled all over and he is interested in traveling as well. We have so far just traveled to Jamaica together but I think that there will be more trips for us in the future.
